Rancilio Silvia

Selling my well cared for Rancilio Silvia espresso machine. I purchased from a guy a year ago who was looking to jump to a la maz. He was the original owner from Seattle coffee gear. I have kept the machine in amazing condition. I use it at least once a day. That said the machine does look used. Looks amazing but shows signs of wear. Comes with double spouted porta filter and bottomless. I installed the E&B shower screen and gasket, which changed the shots from this machine in a very positive manner. We use a water ionizer which is already filtered. Since my ownership it has only had ionized filtered water ran through it. I backflush about every other week. Although my espresso practice is relatively clean already so I usually don’t get much out of a backflush. After each shot I run water through the group and continue until it showers out of the screen. Proving there’s no obstructions. Seattle coffee gear installed the auber PID. The machine works perfect. No issues. I am ONLY selling because my wife has gotten more into espresso and I wanted to go heat exchanger route to speed up the morning routine. There is some paint missing near the drip tray from moving the tray in and out. Pretty much unavoidable if you use the machine daily. This is my 4th espresso machine. I started with a flair which taught me so much, and this machine can definitely make espresso as good as the best machines. Also steams really well under 8 oz.
