Slayer V3

2-group matte white Slayer with matte black X's. This model is a V3, the newest of the standard (vs. the Steam) Slayer body. The lifespan of Slayer’s group actuator shot up to over 1,000,000 cycles with the V3 – 15 times longer than V2 and 50 times V1 custom-built for us by Slayer, and been in service on our bar reliably for 4.5 years, looking like over 100k shots pulled to date. Well-maintained with a regular maintenance schedule. The handles and paddles are ziricote wood. The portafilter's wood handles have slight cracking around the end. Overall, ziricote wood is very tough, and it's an absolutely beautiful wood with a dark color and grain. We condition it regularly with oil. The cracking does not affect performance - they appeared early on and have not worsened with our care. Handles can be replaced if you wish though, too!
